Color is something very common. In the morning we think about what to wear, if the shoes are match our trousers and shirt. When we leave the house traffic lights secure our way across the street with their colored lights.
Color also has a characteristic impact.
The reflective clothing of the street workers will be recognized from a distance and secures their lives by the fluorescent effect. Bright red traffic signs show us risks on the street.
Pills are colored so that they can be distinguished from each other. The black, brown or gray wire at a power supply has high voltage, blue and green-yellow are save.
But even feelings can be influenced by colors. Doctors in the operating theatre have green or blue clothes to allay the patients. If they were wearing dark red or even black coats – the patients would be worried. If we see a red lamp in a window, we associate it to the oldest business in the world. Marketing experts are using colors to make their products recognizable. Red cigarette packages, purple chocolate and red sports cars are brands everybody knows. Color comes across in our whole live, always and everywhere.
